{"id":1404,"date":"2023-07-31T11:55:13","date_gmt":"2023-07-31T11:55:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uptimerobot.com\/blog\/?p=1404"},"modified":"2025-11-13T15:21:45","modified_gmt":"2025-11-13T15:21:45","slug":"sms-voice-call-credit-consumption-change","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uptimerobot.com\/blog\/sms-voice-call-credit-consumption-change\/","title":{"rendered":"SMS &#038; Voice call credit consumption change"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hi folks.<\/p>\n<p>We have an important update for those of you who are using SMS or Voice call notifications.<\/p>\n<p>You may have noticed that we haven\u2019t touched the pricing or credit packages since introducing SMS and voice call alerts <a href=\"https:\/\/uptimerobot.com\/blog\/introducing-uptime-robot-pro-for-1-minute-checks-andor-more-monitors\/\">back in 2015<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s no mystery that SMS messaging and voice calls have different fees by country. Which is why after reviewing the costs for each country, we have decided to update our pricing structure to reflect these fees.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>TLDR: We still don&#8217;t change the SMS package prices! What&#8217;s changing is we spend 2 credits in 32 countries and 5 credits in Russia for each SMS message received. Other countries stay at 1 credit per SMS.
