Hi everyone!<\/span><\/p>\n

Slack has updated the process for adding webhooks. If you created your Slack integration after November 2024, it will continue to work. However, if it was created before that date, it is now obsolete. We strongly recommend updating it to prevent potential issues in case Slack discontinues support.<\/span><\/p>\n

How to update your Slack integration<\/span><\/h2>\n
    \n
  1. Open Slack integration in UptimeRobot<\/b>: Navigate to <\/span>Integrations & API<\/b> in your UptimeRobot dashboard and select the <\/span>Slack<\/b> integration.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Go to<\/b> Slack\u2019s webhook setup page<\/b><\/a>: to set up the new webhook URL and learn more about the integration and advanced settings.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. Click on \u201cCreate an App\u201d<\/b> and select \u201cFrom scratch\u201d.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      1. Enter a name, pick a workspace, and click <\/span>Create App<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        1. Scroll down to customize display information<\/b>: Under <\/span>Display Information<\/b>, you can add the <\/span>UptimeRobot logo<\/b><\/a>, a short and long description, or a background color. <\/span>Save Changes<\/b>.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          1. From the left menu, select <\/span>Incoming Webhooks<\/b> and toggle the switch to <\/span>On<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            1. On this page, click <\/span>“Add New Webhook to Workspace”<\/b>, then choose the Slack channel where you want to receive notifications.<\/span><\/li>\n
            2. Once generated, copy the webhook URL on the same page and return to your UptimeRobot dashboard.<\/span><\/li>\n
            3. Paste the webhook URL into the <\/span>Slack Webhook URL<\/b> field and click the <\/span>Update Integration<\/b> button.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
