Your preference is saved to your account.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Navigate and manage groups easily<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Groups are displayed in a collapsible format for easier browsing. Expand or collapse groups as you prefer, and UptimeRobot will remember your choice for that browser. You can also drag and drop groups to reorder them.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Customize group settings<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rename groups, move them up or down, or delete them (except the default group). You can also toggle Public Status Page and Maintenance windows per group.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Quickly understand group health<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each group has a status indicator:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Green<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> = all monitors up<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Orange<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> = at least one monitor down<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Red<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> = all monitors down<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You\u2019ll also see counts for monitors that are up, down, or in \u201cother\u201d states like paused or degraded.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Assign monitors to groups anywhere you manage them<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can assign monitors from the Monitor Wizard, in Monitor Edit for existing monitors or with Bulk Actions, within Bulk Actions in the dashboard.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Create groups on the fly<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Add a new group directly from the dashboard with the \u201cNew\u201d button, or create one while assigning a monitor.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Display groups on Public Status Pages<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PSPs can now reflect monitor groups, making them clearer and easier to read for your audience.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>How are groups different from tags?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tags and groups are both powerful, but they serve different organizational purposes. It&#8217;s important to know when to use each.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Think of it this way: tags add descriptive metadata, while groups provide a single organizational category. A monitor can have <\/span><b>multiple tags<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> but can only belong to <\/span><b>one group<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The biggest workflow advantage is speed. Groups are always visible on your dashboard.
