And, it is also\u00a0disabled by default on all popular browsers.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, there are still a small number of websites that support SSL 3.0\u00a0(which must definitely be disabled).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Starting tomorrow (6 April 2016), we&#8217;ll also be dropping support on sending SSL 3.0 compatible requests<\/strong> which will make the monitoring &#8220;not function&#8221; for those websites (a website&#8217;s SSL 3.0 support\u00a0can be checked from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssllabs.com\/ssltest\/\">SSL Labs<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Once Uptime Robot detects that a website requires SSL 3.0 for HTTPs communication, it&#8217;ll not mark the monitor as down but pause it\u00a0and <strong>notify the user via e-mail with the information for taking action<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0P.S&gt;<\/strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/disablessl3.com\/\">Disable SSLv3<\/a> is a nice website that shares &#8220;web server specific information&#8221; regarding &#8220;how to disable SSL 3.0&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>You&#8217;ll remember that SSL 3.0 is no longer secure since October\u00a02014 with the discovery of Poodle attack.
