Following our <\/span>latest updates<\/span><\/a>, which, from now on, we\u2019d love to share with you regularly, we\u2019re happy to announce last month\u2019s news. There\u2019s always space for improvements while doing necessary maintenance, so let\u2019s take a look at it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

SSL certificate issuance<\/span><\/h2>\n

It\u2019s great to see you enjoy using our <\/span>redesigned status pages<\/span><\/a> and we are happy to provide such a service to you!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

However, creating so many status pages and custom domains can be challenging. During the last months, the number of status pages increased significantly and we started hitting both rate limits of our Caddy web server and Let\u2019s Encrypt SSL certificates issuer.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thanks to the help of the Caddy <\/span>creator himself<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>Let\u2019s Encrypt\u2019s<\/span><\/a> awesome team, we have improved the overall process and increased the rate limits.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

TIP: Using <\/span><\/i>Cloudflare<\/span><\/i><\/a>? Take a look at <\/span><\/i>these steps<\/span><\/i><\/a> to configure it for a custom domain.\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Google Analytics for custom domains<\/span><\/h2>\n

Good news! From now on, you can add tracking to your status page if you are using a custom domain. Also, you can <\/span>change the URL of your logo<\/b> and send your visitors to your homepage.<\/span><\/p>\n

You\u2019ll find these settings in your account at UptimeRobot.com under \u201c<\/span>Status Page<\/i><\/b>\u201d > \u201c<\/span>Global settings<\/i><\/b>\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Status pages optimization<\/span><\/h2>\n

We have also optimized the performance of our status pages by backend improvements and adding weekly\/monthly pagination for announcements and updates.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As you probably already know, you can show or hide downtimes grouped by day for a specific monitor in the Announcement feed. The latest downtime will be visible in the header. This won’t hide the events on a details page. If you have the \u201cShow outage updates and the latest downtime\u201d feature disabled, status updates pagination is monthly, otherwise, it\u2019s weekly.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Infrastructure<\/span><\/h2>\n

Improvements regarding our infrastructure covered mostly the re-work of our remote nodes and migration of servers that is still in progress.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We already announced in our <\/span>Tech Updates Newsletter<\/b> (subscribe from <\/span>your account\u2019s \u201cMy Settings\u201d<\/span><\/a> if you wish to receive them) that a remote-node IP address <\/span>188.226.183.141<\/span><\/i> has been changed to the <\/span>new IP address: <\/b>167.99.209.234<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Fixed weekly maintenance windows<\/span><\/h2>\n

Some users might have experienced some issues with our weekly maintenance windows while the other types were working without issues. We decided to completely re-work it and fixing it for the long term this way. A big thanks to everyone who waited patiently for the fix!<\/span><\/p>\n

PagerDuty Integration<\/span><\/h2>\n

Last but not least. Our <\/span>PagerDuty<\/span><\/a> integration was around for some time already, but we\u2019re happy to announce that it\u2019s now <\/span>official<\/span><\/a>! We joined the partner program and maintained an official coop.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
