Fair Use Policy.
UptimeRobot is available for any use, including commercial and business use, by individuals, teams, and organizations of any size. This policy sets out the operational expectations that apply to all accounts, on any plan, so we can keep the service fast and reliable for everyone.

1. Operational expectations.
We expect all accounts to use UptimeRobot in ways that do not degrade the service for other users. Behaviors that fall outside fair use include:
- Operating multiple accounts in coordination to bypass the resource limits of a single account.
- Automated patterns of monitor creation, configuration changes, or notification triggers that strain shared infrastructure.
- Attempts to circumvent rate limits, plan limits, or other technical guardrails.
- Use of the service in ways that conflict with our Terms of Service.
2. Account reviews.
UptimeRobot reviews account activity on a regular basis. Where a review identifies an account whose usage patterns are inconsistent with this policy, or whose monitoring needs have grown beyond what its current plan is set up to support, we may contact the account holder to discuss the findings and agree on the right resolution. In most cases the simplest resolution is moving to the plan that matches the account's current level of use, and we will recommend the best-fit option directly. Accounts that do not engage with the review or address the findings within a reasonable period may be subject to the actions described in "Service adjustments" below.
3. Service adjustments.
To protect service quality and reliability for all users, UptimeRobot may apply technical adjustments to an account, including (without limitation) rate limits, throttling of automated actions, reduction of monitor or notification capacity, or temporary suspension of features. These adjustments may be applied without prior notice where the integrity of the service requires it.
4. Suspension and termination.
For clear cases of abuse, such as attempts to overwhelm the service, run abusive or illegal workloads, or otherwise harm the platform or other users, we may suspend or terminate access in line with our Terms of Service. Continued non-compliance with this policy following an account review may also result in suspension or termination.
5. Changes to this policy.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted in the Terms of Service Changelog.
